What is event management planning?

It is the planning and managing of a big event. There are events that need several weeks of planning compared to just several days for some. For big events, you would need a team whose member’s tasks will be divided accordingly. Of course, a deadline must be set for each task. For example, hiring a photographer must be accomplished a month before the event. If you do that a week before the event, you may not be able to find a good one. It would be best to write down all the people who you must hire. The average cost of each one should also be listed so you will still end up with a cheap but high-quality professional. Besides, hiring someone who is not that experienced to an event might be a big risk.

How do you plan a cheap wedding?

Everything from the clothes down to the food must all be cheap. In fact, you must assign a budget for each category and you should never go over that. It is alright to plan a cheap wedding if the couple does not really consider it a momentous occasion. It may just be a symbol that they are ready to spend the rest of their lives together so they don’t really plan on going all out. The wedding may not be that memorable if you decide to not spend that much money. However, what matters is that the couple are finally considered husband and wife.

How do you consider quality event planning?

You know you did a great job planning for the event when all the guests had a great time. At the end of the day, that is what matters. You will know right away that they had an awesome time judging from the looks of their faces when they exit the location. Of course, it won’t make sense to send them an evaluation form. You just need to take a look at their faces during and after the event. They will definitely make their voices heard if they were not satisfied with the event. You may even hear some backlash from them at their social media accounts. If that did not happen, it is expected that they had a great time. If that is true, you could do what you did to that event for future events so they can also become successful.

How do you consider an event planning as a failure?

It is definitely a failure when things don’t go as planned. There are times when nothing goes as planned and it can’t possibly be anybody’s fault. For example, the catering company was late because of an auto failure on the way to the venue. When that happens, the food will be delayed and everyone will get hungry. Another example would be if the photographer’s camera suddenly runs out of battery. If the event did not have enough photos, you can solely blame it on that. However, you can also blame yourself for not hiring more than one photographer.
